Five Delicious One Pot Meals For Winter
It’s that time of year again, when temperatures drop and getting cozy at home becomes pure joy. There is something about walking into a warm house on a cold winter night and smelling some fabulous food. Winter is a great time for all those hearty dishes that just scream “comfort food”, so I’ve pulled together five of my favorite winter recipes, and bonus, they are all one pot meals!
First up is the Beer Braised Pot Roast. This is the ultimate one pot comfort food. It’s perfectly hearty, makes a ton of food so is great for guests, and after you get it in the oven it’s basically hands off until fully cooked. So while it may take hours to cook, you can do other things during that time!
Next up is a fun one, Butter Chicken!
I love how simple this one is, yet it tastes amazing. I love all the spices in it, and surprise, there is no actual butter in the recipe! It also makes a lot of food, so great for guests or leftovers!
Another one pot meal that has become a go to of mine over the years is Stuffed Peppers.
This is probably the easiest of all the recipes here, prep time is less than 10 minutes, there is hardly any chopping, and once the ingredients are in the pot you just let it cook while you do other things!
Our next dish is Smoky Chicken with Fennel. This is a great meal to make after a long day at work, it’s quick, easy, healthy, and delicious!
Last, but certainly not least, is my new favorite, Beef Bourguignon!
Now, you may notice that the recipe involves two pots. Well, you don’t actually need to make it that way. In fact, since I can’t seem to ever find pearl onions, I just throw the mushrooms into the main pot when I add the wine and call it a day. It still tastes amazing, and makes it easier since it’s a one pot meal!
Hope you all enjoy these recipes! Next up I’ll be posting some of my favorite winter side dishes!
