Roasted Brussel Sprouts
This is an easy sheet pan side dish and, bonus, you can have fun experimenting with different spices on it!
Ingredients:
1 lb Brussel Sprouts
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and pepper
Optional:
Any spices you like! I love using either berbere for a kick or a blend from the Spice and Tea Exchange called Colonial Seasoning for a more mellow flavor.
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Wash and thoroughly dry the brussel sprouts
Cut off the bottoms of the brussel sprouts and discard.
Halve the brussel sprouts and put into a bowl.
Drizzle olive oil and any spices over brussel sprouts. Toss to coat.
Arrange brussel sprouts on a sheet pan, keep about 1” space between them. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until just starting to brown.
